Dear SportCamp Team,
what makes any Study a valuable tool is the ability to apply it and take action on its principles.
We believe that this can only happen if we all speak the same language, and for this reason, our main purpose has been to SIMPLIFY all technical terms and tactics, in a way that would help you understand the basics of a solid Web-Marketing Plan.
We broke down the whole Study into 10 Sections and we Created a VIDEO per Section. The PDF File will also be available to you, along with the DATA Spread-Sheets.
Before you start watching the VIDEOS, we would like to refer to a few MYTHS about a Business’s Online Presence which we consider of essential importance, although we are aware of your Advanced Level of perception and your degree of familiarity with Web-Marketing.
- An Online Business is an Entity of its own, and it breathes and grows just as an Offline one does. They can be complementary, but they always keep their independence. That means we have to approach the Online Model of our Offline Business with open mind.
- Traffic is about people. Most of us tend to believe that Internet is an impersonal technical medium, and Web-Marketing (I prefer to call it Web Marketing than Internet Marketing, because Web is about connected people) is a series of utterly technical mysterious actions performed by some nerds. This couldn’t be more wrong. To attract Traffic, you must give people reasons to get interested about you and your Business, to trust you and to get convinced about the value they get from you.
- Although everything can be tracked and measured online, and although there are millions of potential prospects out there, the cold fact about an Online Business’s Growth is that it takes A LOT of work , boring to death repetitive work, A LOT of pig-headed discipline and planning, to reach MOMENTUM. Momentum has been reached when our Conversion Rate results to NET PROFIT once we deduct the Client’s Acquisition Cost and our Business’s Operational Costs. That is the SWEET SPOT. And till we reach it, the line of Growth looks like a flat one with minor deviation from X axis. But the magic about Internet is that once we reach Momentum and our ROI (Return on Investment) is positive, we can scale it up and there are NO LIMITS to what we can achieve. The next Stage is that of exponential Growth.
- Last but not least, being in a specific NICHE doesn’t mean we have to keep our eyes and ears closed to other NICHES and the ways other Marketers choose to promote their offers. We may adapt their strategies to our own territory with extremely exceptional results.
